November has been a whirlwind for our family. As we rounded out our first term on the field, we made every effort to leave a lasting impact on the ministries we’ve been blessed to be a part of. We look back fondly at these past two years and look forward with anticipation and excitement about the next four. We will be spending 3 months stateside to share our vision and spend some time with family before heading back to Peru. .

We are excited to share with you how God worked in November and how He is leading us in this coming season!

Thanksgiving in Peru

This month we celebrated Thanksgiving with our Peruvian family in Love Baptist Church. We gave each of the church members two tickets to invite friends or family members to a banquet at the church where we sang, shared testimonies, shared the gospel, and shared a meal. It was a sweet time together and a great opportunity to express our gratitude to God for all He is and all He has done.

Love Baptist Church

We ended the night with this photo. It reminds me of the blessing and provision of God. Two years ago we met together in one small room on the corner of an empty lot. This day we celebrated together in a building with space for many adults, a youth wing, a nursery, and a concrete floor! God is faithful to provide. We have learned so much over the past two years, but more than anything it has taught us to dream and watch as God provides. God delights to provide for His children (and to make space to reach even more!).

Surrendered to the Ministry

This is Ricardo. He is a young man training in the bible college and helping out in Love Baptist Church. We’ve been able to spend time ministering together, and I’ve been able to see his heart for God. He has given his life to full time ministry, but he is facing a lot of opposition from family for leaving his career. Would you pray for him for strength and wisdom?

New Church Plant!

We’ve been asking for prayer about a new church plant for the last few months. God has given us clarity and direction on planting Redeemer Baptist Church in an area of the city called “Bustamante”. This is the area we started a bible study in earlier this year. There is a strong presence of Mormon and Jehovah’s Witness outreach, and we believe there is a great need for the gospel! Would you pray for us as we seek to raise $200,000 to purchase a property and building to provide a lighthouse of hope in this urban community?

SUPPORT ADDRESS UPDATE:

Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. and the Our Generation Training Center have been praying for God to provide space for the ministry to expand. In February 2022, through the giving of many generous individuals and churches, God provided an excellent property in Dawsonville, Georgia with several buildings. We are very excited about the property the Lord has given us and the opportunities to expand into the future. We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed our mission. One thing that also comes with this blessing is a new mailing and support address. Please begin sending all mail and support to the following:

Vision Baptist Missions
