Updates

We are thankful for another month of seeing God continue to work here in Peru. As we look back over the past several weeks, we are reminded again of God’s faithfulness through the growth of His church, opportunities to proclaim the Gospel, and the privilege we have to serve Him alongside each of you through your prayers and support.

We are thankful for another month of serving the Lord here in Arequipa!

God continues to give us opportunities to invest in people, strengthen relationships, and reach the next generation. Thank you for your continued prayers and partnership with us.

On Sunday the 16th, we celebrated our city with a traditional Arequipa meal called adobo—meat soaked overnight and then slow-cooked in broth over a wood fire. The ladies in our church prepared enough for everyone, and it was great to see our church family come together to serve and celebrate the city God has called us to reach. We believe God has great things ahead for Arequipa and that the Gospel will continue to go from here into other parts of Peru.

Investing in Kids

For Kids Day, we had a special celebration at Redentor with games, snacks, and a Bible lesson for the children. We are thankful for the growing children’s ministry God has given us, but our goal is much bigger than simply having a fun place for kids—we want to intentionally disciple the next generation into a faith that shapes the rest of their lives. Thank you for helping us invest in these children and their future

Ladies Meeting

Allie recently hosted the young ladies from our church in our home for a special afternoon of tea and time together. These simple opportunities give her a chance to invest personally in their lives while helping the girls build stronger relationships with one another. We are thankful for the trust God is allowing us to build and pray these relationships will give us many opportunities to point them toward Christ in the years ahead.
This month we celebrated Corban’s 5th birthday. Corban has lived in Peru since he was 4 months old. His first words were in Spanish, and he has only spent about 8 months of his life in the US. He loves to make people laugh and makes sure that we never have a dull moment in our home!
