Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. This month we recieved a video update from one of our supporting churches giving us an update on their ministry and how God has been working in their church. It was an encouragement for us to see how our great God is working in the lives of people all over the world, not just our area, and to know we are working together for the same goal and purpose, to see Jesus magnified!
Here’s a review of what we’ve been up to and how God has been blessing here:
Ladies Event
Allie and the ladies of Love Baptist Church are making good use of the facilities by hosting a ladies night. They went out into the community inviting ladies to a free event where they could enjoy a craft, fellowship, and a Bible lesson. There were 3 first-time visitors, and everyone had the opportunity to hear the good news of the Gospel! These events will happen monthly as we continue to sew seeds in this community. Would you pray for God to use these efforts?
Corban’s 2nd Birthday!
This month we celebrated Corban’s 2nd birthday! I can’t believe he was only 4 months old when we arrived here in Peru. He is speaking in English as well as Spanish, and I am certain one day soon he will pass us up in the language! I love that he has the opportunity to be along with us in the ministry and learn how to serve others. His blonde hair and blue eyes make him stick out in a crowd, and he becomes an instant conversation starter with any stranger. Please pray for Corban and our girls that God would work in them, save them, and work through their lives as we seek to serve the people of Peru. .
Love Baptist Church Update
Please continue praying for Love Baptist Church. This month we should have the floor poured in the new building, next we’ll need to put up a wall for the second floor so we can move the children upstairs and free up the nursery downstairs. As we finish out this year we will be stepping out of this church to plant a new church. We are so grateful for the opportunity we have had to help and we look forward to all God will do in this community!
I’d like to request your prayers as we consider the location for a church plant for the coming year. We have several zones we are considering and are asking God for clarity and provision. Would you pray that God would open doors and make it clear for us?
