Property Purchased!
Omega Baptist Church finally has land of their own! Thanks to the generous giving of God’s people, and God’s provision, we were able to secure the purchase of the land this month! This gives the church a place to begin building in the midst of an established and needy community. Please pray for the church that they could grow and reach the community.
Omega had their annual missions conference this month. Each week there was a visiting missionary who would present their ministry. It reminded me of our time on deputation and how God used that time to grow us and help us get here to Peru. It is exciting to see the churches here in Peru fulfilling the great commission and having a passion to see missionaries sent all over the world from right here!
We were invited to be part of the missions conference in Liberty Baptist Church where I had the opportunity to preach a message to encourage the congregation with the theme of world missions. We went to Romans 12 and I spoke on how the mercy God has shown us should drive and motivate us to live lives sacrificially for Him. God has been so good to us, it should bring us joy to serve Him!
