We are humbled and grateful for your faithful prayers and support of the ministry here in Peru. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel with new people every week and see God at work in this new church plant!

Youth Meeting

This month we started our first youth meetings! Each Friday night we are meeting together for a time of Bible study and fellowship. God has grown the group each week and our prayer is that we would continue to see God working in the lives of these young people. Our future pastors and leaders will likely come from groups like this. Would you pray that God would raise up servant leaders from this group?

Seeing Lives Transformed Through Outreach

We have had many new people come to the church because of an invitation they received at their door or walking down the street. It is always an encouragement to meet these people and know that the time spent investing in outreach results in people coming to church! One elderly lady came and said that she received an invitation from our daughter, which was a great opportunity to teach our children how important it is to participate in outreach.

Arequipa Day

People from our area take great pride in their city. The city is 484 years old and has a diverse cultural heritage. There are still many who speak Quechua, the language spoken by the Incas, and a large influence from Spain. Each culture has influenced their beliefs and customs, but God has given us a message to share with them that transcends cultures and traditions. Our prayer is that the gospel would have such a radical effect that this city would be know for the work of God there.

Corban’s Brithday

This month we had the opportunity to celebrate Corban turning three! When we arrived here in Peru he was only 4 months old, so he is more Peruvian than any of us. We pray that God would work in his life and that he would be greatly used by Him.

As we press forward in hope and expectation we are reminded of all of the ways God has provided up to this point, including bringing us in contact with YOU! Thank you for your faithfulness and prayers for our family. !

Redeemer Baptist Church

We have begun services by renting a location for Redeemer Baptist Church! There are about 80,000 people in this area and we are excited to be able to serve them with the gospel of Christ!

Our desire is to purchase a piece of property in the area to be able to provide a long-term home for the church and provide the stability needed for long-term growth.

Would you pray for us as we seek to raise $200,000 to purchase a property and building to provide a lasting lighthouse of hope in this urban community?

SUPPORT ADDRESS UPDATE:

Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. and the Our Generation Training Center have been praying for God to provide space for the ministry to expand. In February 2022, through the giving of many generous individuals and churches, God provided an excellent property in Dawsonville, Georgia with several buildings. We are very excited about the property the Lord has given us and the opportunities to expand into the future. We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed our mission. One thing that also comes with this blessing is a new mailing and support address. Please begin sending all mail and support to the following:

Vision Baptist Missions

PO Box 647
