The time is flying by, and we are having a blast serving the Lord here in Peru! God has been blessing week after week as we see folks growing in their walk with God, taking steps of obedience to His word, and getting involved in the work of the ministry. Let me share a bit about this past month:
Missions at Redentor
This month we had the oportunity to invite our first missionary to come and present his ministry in Redeemer Baptist Church. Jairo is an Argentine serving in Burkina Faso, Africa. Would you pray for these ministers as they seek to return to the field in 2025 and for our church to have a part in their ministry?
Missions in the Jungle
I was also invited this month to preach a missions conference in the jungle region of Peru! It was incredibly hot, and all manner of bugs attacked me while preaching, but it was a great opportunity to encourage a young church with all that God can do in and through them to reach the world with the hope of the gospel!
Ladies Event
The Bible College hosted a ladies event on the importance of prayer, and Allie was invited as the main speaker! She had the opportunity to invest in dozens of young ladies and share with them from the experience God has given her. It is a great privilege to be able to invest in the next generation of ministers here in Peru!
Kid’s Club
We have continued our weekly Kid’s Club and seen new children come each week! As the children are learning and enjoying songs and games we have the opportunity to sit with their parents and invest in them. Please pray for fruit from these efforts!
Outreach Opportunity
The end of October is a time in the culture here where many folks go to the cemetery to visit their loved ones who have passed away. Our church is half a block from the cemetery, so we took the opportunity to pass out bottles of water with invitations to our church on them – we passed out over 1,000 invites! Pray that we would see fruit from this outreach!
As we press forward in hope and expectation we are reminded of all of the ways God has provided up to this point, including bringing us in contact with YOU! Thank you for your faithfulness and prayers for our family. !
Redeemer Baptist Church
There are about 80,000 people in this area and we are excited to be able to serve them with the gospel of Christ!
The church is growing rapidly and Lord willing will soon outgrow our current meeting space!
Our desire is to purchase a piece of property in the area to be able to provide a long-term home for the church and provide the stability needed for long-term growth.
We have now seen $1,500 given toward this project!
Would you pray for us as we seek to raise $200,000 to purchase a property and building to provide a lasting lighthouse of hope in this urban community?

Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. and the Our Generation Training Center have been praying for God to provide space for the ministry to expand. In February 2022, through the giving of many generous individuals and churches, God provided an excellent property in Dawsonville, Georgia with several buildings. We are very excited about the property the Lord has given us and the opportunities to expand into the future. We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed our mission.
