July has been an exciting month for us here in Peru! God has brought us many new people to the church and many opportunities to serve them. Here is a quick update on all God has been doing here: ast month:
Visiting Pastors
This month we had several guests from the US visit and have the opportunity to preach in our church. Those listening were very gracious as I had the opportuniy to interpret for both of those services. It is certainly a challenge, but a great blessing to be used to communicate God’s word to His people in their language.
Expanding Our Reach and Sharing the Gospel
One of the visiting pastors blessed us greatly with a new sound system for the church which now allows us to project our services out the front door and into the street where we distribute free coffee along with tracts and invites to the church. Here one of our partnering missionaries, Lauren Grant, had the opportunity to share the gospel with one of our neighbors!
Discipling Ladies
My wife has been investing heavily in the ladies of our church, meeting with and teaching on a daily basis. She is working to teach them how to teach others in order to create an environment of always investing in others. God is using her greatly in their lives!
A Lost Sheep Found: Jorge’s Journey Back to Faith
God is using our efforts to reach those who are far from Him. One example from this month is Jorge. We met him during our Thursday evening service and he stated, “I was saved 30 years ago but I have been wandering in the wilderness for the last ten years. Last week I received an invitation to Redentor in my door so I decided to come. I want to grow in my faith and help others know Christ!”
Independence and Gratitude in Peru
July is a big month for us here in Peru just as it is for the US! On July 28th we celebrate the independence of Peru. We had a special service where we celebrated with traditional Peruvian dishes and thanked God for the freedom we have to proclaim the gospel and to worship Him freely! It is a priviledge to serve God here and it reminds us to continue to pray for those in creative access countries who do not share those same privileges.
As we press forward in hope and expectation we are reminded of all of the ways God has provided up to this point, including bringing us in contact with YOU! Thank you for your faithfulness and prayers for our family. !
Redeemer Baptist Church
We have begun services by renting a location for Redeemer Baptist Church! There are about 80,000 people in this area and we are excited to be able to serve them with the gospel of Christ!
Our desire is to purchase a piece of property in the area to be able to provide a long-term home for the church and provide the stability needed for long-term growth.
Would you pray for us as we seek to raise $200,000 to purchase a property and building to provide a lasting lighthouse of hope in this urban community?

Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. and the Our Generation Training Center have been praying for God to provide space for the ministry to expand. In February 2022, through the giving of many generous individuals and churches, God provided an excellent property in Dawsonville, Georgia with several buildings. We are very excited about the property the Lord has given us and the opportunities to expand into the future. We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed our mission.
