We hope you have had a wonderful start to 2025! We are excited to see how God works this year in our family and in Redeemer Baptist Church. As we enter this year would you help us as we pray for God’s guidance and provision?
One urgent and unexpected message came to me this week about the passing of the owner of our rented space. We trust God has a plan, and we are praying it would become apparent whether our time in this space is limited, or if there will be an unexpected opportunity to purchase the property. We have had several generous gifts come in this month for a property purchase, but we still have a ways to go! We will update as more information becomes available, but please be praying for this situation.
Living Out Our Faith: A Journey Through the Book of James
I have been preaching sequencially through the book of James over the past several months and just finished in January. The main focus we saw throughout the book was a call to spiritual maturity and living out the faith that we profess. It was a great challenge to all of us and I pray it becomes a reality in our daily walk.

Continued Growth
If you came to Redeemer Baptist on a Sunday morning, our oldest daughter Eden might just welcome you in the door! God has continued blessing the church plant and continues to bring new families our way. We have had the opportunity to start new Bible studies with several of them and it is encouraging to see them grow and mature in their faith little by little. Our goal this year is to focus intently on discipleship and seeing the church grow more mature in order to invest in and disciple new believers. We have planned events and special meetings to focus on marriage, parenting, and family as well as personal discipleship. Would you pray with us that God would use these things greatly?

Youth Group
Another exciting advancement is the help of Josué, who is serving with me in the youth group and outreach efforts of the church. He recently graduated from the Bible College here and is excited to have the opportunity to continue serving in the ministry of Redeemer Baptist. Would you pray that God would use this opportunity to grow him, and that many young people in our commmunity would have their lives impacted for Christ?

The Power of Serving Together in God’s Church
Each week it is an encouragement to me to see young people serving the Lord, using their talents and abilities to teach and train others. It is a constant reminder to me that His church functions as a body, and every member is important! God is using many people in His work here: how might the Lord want to use you in the church family and ministry where He has placed you? As you consider your steps of obedience to the Lord in this, would you pray for the believers here in Peru to continue taking steps of faithfulness?

As we press forward in hope and expectation we are reminded of all of the ways God has provided up to this point, including bringing us in contact with YOU! Thank you for your faithfulness and prayers for our family.
Redeemer Baptist Church

There are about 80,000 people in this area and we are excited to be able to serve them with the gospel of Christ!
The church is growing rapidly and Lord willing will soon outgrow our current meeting space!
Our desire is to purchase a piece of property in the area to be able to provide a long-term home for the church and provide the stability needed for long-term growth.
We have now seen $4,500.67 given toward this project!
Would you pray for us as we seek to raise $200,000 to purchase a property and building to provide a lasting lighthouse of hope in this urban community?
SUPPORT ADDRESS UPDATE:

We are very excited about the property the Lord has given us and the opportunities to expand into the future. We are so thankful for how the Lord has blessed our mission. One thing that also comes with this blessing is a new mailing and support address. Please begin sending all mail and support to the following:
