This past month has been an encouraging season as we’ve seen new growth, deeper relationships, and God’s grace at work in both churches. We’re thankful for how the Lord is strengthening people and laying foundations for what lies ahead, and we’re excited about the matched giving opportunity toward a future property for Redeemer Baptist Church.

El Salvador Update

At El Salvador Baptist Church, we are investing heavily in leadership development in order to establish a healthy structure on the foundation of Christ. The work is young and requires patience, but we believe lasting ministry is built through discipling faithful men and women. Please pray that more young people would commit themselves fully to serving Christ here. The youth group is expanding rapidly, and we know that God can use them significantly in their families as well in the community they call home! The church is committed heavily to prayer and as a result many are growing in a deeper walk with the Lord each day.  

Rainy Season Flooding

February in our desert city is the heavy month of rainy season. This year we experienced flooding, mudslides, and many homes destroyed. We thank the Lord that our area of the city was minimally effected, but we ask you to pray for those who have lost homes or loved ones due to these powerful conditions.

Family Update

This month the girls started school at home in an online program. It is a big adjustment for the whole family, but we are proud of the way they are adjusting to learning how to learn in a new language (English). Please pray for the girls and my wife that this would be a formative season for them and that God would use it greatly.

PRAYER REQUESTS

• Pray for provision for a permanent property for Redeemer and the $10,000 match.
• Pray for more young leaders to commit to ministry at El Salvador.
• Pray for those affected by flooding and mudslides.
